More info on Rusty: Rusty Nawrocki was born and raised in Florida and is Deaf. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a minor in Criminology from Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. He has over 13 years of experience as an educator across K–12 and college classrooms, teaching various science disciplines and ASL. Rusty is currently an ASL teacher in the Edmonds School District. Beyond the classroom, he serves as the head coach for the USA Taekwondo & Judo Team. Rusty is honored to share his insights as a speaker, drawing from his deep knowledge and experience in the field of science and education.
